No Call, No Show Policy

Any appointment that is missed completely and given no notice or notice after appointment time, has an arrival time of more than 5 minutes late or does not give a 24-hour cancellation notice will now be considered a no call no show. If this occurs more than 3 times in a 12-month period, the patient will be discharged from the practice.

No call no show appointments are subject to a $50.00 fee that will be charged automatically to your account and must be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.

We appreciate our patient's cooperation and understanding as we continue to make changes to the practice to provide the best patient care.

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

At Kintsugi Psychiatry, your privacy is a top priority. What you share with us during your appointments stays between you and your clinician, and we will never release information without your written consent.

There are a few situations, however, where the law requires us to break confidentiality in order to protect you or others:

  • Concerns about abuse: If we suspect child abuse, dependent adult abuse, or elder abuse, we are legally obligated to report it to the proper authorities right away.

  • Threats of harm to others: If a client expresses intent to cause serious harm to another person, we must notify law enforcement and alert the potential victim.

  • Risk of self‑harm: If a client is at risk of harming themselves, we will do everything possible to work with them to ensure their safety. If cooperation isn’t possible, we may take additional steps allowed by law to protect them.

Our goal is always to create a safe, supportive environment where you can speak openly. Please know your information is always protected except in these rare, legally mandated situations.
